About Rise and Learn Curriculum

Rise and Learn Curriculum was created with one purpose: to bring clarity, confidence, and beauty to the early‑learning journey. We believe children thrive when lessons are gentle, structured, and visually inviting — and when parents feel supported, not overwhelmed. Our curriculum blends research‑based instruction with warm, accessible design so every child can learn at their own pace.

Built for homeschool families, co‑ops, and small schools, Rise and Learn offers a full year of Grade 1 ELA that is mastery‑based, open‑and‑go, and truly doable for real families.

Meet the Creator

‍I’m Ellery Zandt — a homeschool mom of four, curriculum designer, and former special education teacher with a deep love for simple, beautiful learning. Before creating Rise and Learn Curriculum, I spent years teaching in both New York and South Carolina, supporting students with diverse needs and learning styles. Those experiences showed me firsthand how powerful it is when lessons are clear, structured, and confidence‑building.

Homeschooling my own children confirmed it even more. I wanted a curriculum that felt warm, open‑and‑go, and truly doable for busy families — so I built one.

Every unit is intentionally designed: beautiful layouts, step‑by‑step lessons, and a mastery‑based approach that helps every child grow at their own pace. My mission is to give families a curriculum they can trust and enjoy, one that brings peace and joy back into learning.

Welcome to Rise and Learn Curriculum — I’m so glad you’re here.
